A notary's duty is to screen signers for their understanding of document content, their cognitive awareness and willingness to sign documents, and to verify their government issued photo identification before properly notarizing the document. A valid government issue photo ID must be presented at the time of the notarization. I am also available to schedule appointments in hospice, hospital and jail facilities.
